'Stunning' TV star has lived with disability since birth but it's 'never held her back'

Tall, dark, and handsome men form an orderly queue because Patsy Field is officially entering Love Island. The fifth Islander to be announced hails from Orpington and is 29 years old. She’s been picky with her partners in the past but is now ready to find a “nice hunk.”

ITV brings a brand new spicy season of Love Island to screens this June. Series 11 kicks off at 9 pm on Monday, June 3, and a whole host of newbies are single and ready to mingle. Some are keen to get wifed-off as soon as possible, as they’re “getting some grays.”

Love Island welcomes Patsy Field

Joining the likes of Samantha, Nicole, Manveer, and Ronnie in the Love Island villa is 29-year-old Patsy.

She works as an office administrator and lives not too far from London.

Patsy has her eyes open for sex appeal when it comes to finding a partner on the ITV show.

She tells the network: “I’m finally ready to find a sexy man and I think Love Island may just have some nice hunky guys for me. I think now is the right time as I’ve got a few grays, so I need to bag a man sooner rather than later.”

Patsy isn’t jetting off to the villa to be messed around. She says her family would describe her as “bossy,” adding: “…It’s always my way or the highway, they’d say I rule the roost.”

When it comes to the Love Islander’s friends, she says they’d dub her: “…the loudest person in the group.”

Patsy continues: “I’m the one who’s always up for doing a dare, they’d say I was the life and soul of the party.”

With just over 3k followers at the time of writing, fans can find Patsy on Instagram at @patsylouu.

Love Island star has Erb’s Palsy

Heading into the Love Island villa, Patsy tells ITV she has a “disability” but it “doesn’t hold her back.”

She explained: “I’ve got something very special about me which is my disability, it’s a condition I was born with called Erb’s Palsy. It doesn’t define who I am, but it makes me a little different, although I’ve learned to get on with it, and it’s never held me back.”

Erb’s Palsy is “muscle weakness in the arm or shoulder that can occur as a result of an injury sustained during birth or later in life,” per Cleveland Clinic.

“It’s most common in infants who injured their shoulders during delivery.”

WATCH LOVE ISLAND FROM MONDAY JUNE 3 ON ITV AT 9 PM ON ITV1, ITV2, ITVX AND STV.
