TV fans unearth 14-year-old cookbook they think 'ignited feud' - 'It caused a shift'

Real Housewives of New Jersey fans have (virtually) got their hands on a copy of Teresa Giudice’s Skinny Italian cookbook. The book, containing a selection of recipes, is 14 years old. Some fans are convinced it’s not Tre on the cover, and others are blaming Skinny Italian for the years-long Giudice-Gorga feud.

If you want to “Live the bella vita” and “look great, too,” it seems a copy of Teresa Giudice‘s Skinny Italian cookbook is exactly what you need. Skinny Italian is giving “wholesome” but some fans are sure “it caused a shift” in the family dynamics on the Bravo show.

Teresa Giudice’s Skinny Italian cookbook

The Real Housewives of New Jersey’s Teresa Giudice isn’t just a reality TV star, she’s published multiple books in her time. Some of her other titles include Fabulicious!: Fast & Fit Teresa Giudice, and Standing Strong.

Sharing recipes loved by her family, Teresa shared Skinny Italian with the world 14 years ago.

Fans appear to be dissecting the book this May as the all-new season of RHONJ airs.

Taking to a Reddit thread, some gave Teresa props for the recipes in the book, adding how their “…little brother bought it for them as a joke a decade ago but they wound up cooking a lot of the recipes and they were good.”

But, others say the credit should go to the star’s late mother when it comes to the recipes.

One wrote on the thread: “That’s what it seems like. Her mother’s and Joe Guidice’s mother. Every recipe has a tiny backstory and most of them led back to those women. A majority of the recipes are really good though.”

Teresa’s book ‘ignited feud’

While some of Teresa’s fans are focused on the recipes in Skinny Italian, others are more concerned over the impact they think it had on her family.

For years, Teresa and her brother, Joe Gorga, and his wife, Melissa, have been feuding.

This year, the ladies’ co-stars have said they think there’s “no going back” for the sisters-in-law.

And fans seem to think the cookbook is something to do with how the feud began.

One person commented: “I totally forgot that essentially the Giudice/Gorga feud was ignited with this book when Teresa said her “little sister-in-law” copies everything she does down to her lawn chairs, lol.”

Another said: “The early years were so much fun and the cookbook is what caused a shift in the existing relationships (although I think a previous comment that it was produced, is correct).”

However, one also commented: “This is not what ignited the feud.”

‘Who’s that on the cover?’

As Teresa enjoys her fifties, she takes to Instagram to say: “Age is just a number, happiness is timeless and I’m living.”

The mom of four girls has been a reality TV star since RHONJ started in 2009.

Over the years, her looks, like anyone else’s, have changed. But, fans are totally surprised at Teresa’s look on the cover of Skinny Italian, some aren’t convinced it’s even her.

One asked: “Who’s that on the cover?”

Another said: “Omg her original face!”

And more were here for Teresa’s old look, commenting: “She was gorgeous, looked just like Milania.”

More said: “She was very cute back then and looked great in her more natural state” and “She’s actually so adorable in the first season…”
