Report: West Ham offered chance to sign striker with 113 career goals for unbelievable £17m fee

West Ham United can sign a top-class, proven centre-forward for a real bargain fee this summer it seems.

Julen Lopetegui has replaced David Moyes as the new West Ham manager, and has the remit of achieving a top eight finish this season, whilst implementing a more attractive playing style.

The Spaniard has been tasked with bringing through some of the talented under-21s this season, but he will still have to make numerous new signings.

Lopetegui is thought to be keen to bring in six new faces at least this summer, and the addition of a top-class striker will be a priority for him.

Michail Antonio has been a great servant for us over the past nine years, but he’s nearing the end of his career now.

Meanwhile, the less said about Danny Ings the better. Now Lopetegui could be on the verge of a bringing in a really big upgrade on both of those players…

West Ham offered chance to sign Youssef En-Nesyri

Sevilla hitman Youssef En-Nesyri has been a transfer target for the Hammers for quite some time now.

The 26-year-old is said to be Lopetegui’s prime transfer target, and it’s little wonder as to why.

En-Nesyri played under Lopetegui when the 57-year-old was in charge of Sevilla, and he was a key player in the West Ham manager’s system.

The Morocco international would really transform the Hammers, with his aerial strength, finishing ability and relentless work ethic.

And now a new report has emerged surrounding the chances of West Ham signing En-Nesyri this summer.

Spanish publication El Mira claim that the Hammers can sign the Sevilla forward for just £17 million this summer.

And not only that, but the Moroccan wants to move to the London Stadium as well.

If that quoted transfer fee is correct, West Ham must not hesitate to bring Youssef En-Nesyri to East London this summer.

Lopetegui clearly knows how to get the best of him, and he’s a proven goalscorer, with 113 to his name for club and country throughout his career (Transfermarkt).

I fully expect the Hammers’ transfer business to kick off in style very soon indeed, and the addition of En-Nesyri would be a great way for Lopetegui to signal his ambition at the London Stadium.
