PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. \- The southbound lanes of US-19 were closed at Curlew Road after a tractor-trailer transporting palm oil crashed into a construction area after the driver fell asleep.
The driver, a 64-year-old Bristol man, was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Crews worked to remove the obstruction and reopen the roadway.
