Russia's losses in Ukraine as of May 28: 1460 troops, 21 tanks and 48 artillery systems

Russia's losses in the war against Ukraine amounted to 1,460 occupants on May 27. In total, since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, 503,800 Russian troops have been killed, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The total combat Russian losses from February 24, 2022, to May 28, 2024, are approximately as follows:

  • personnel - 503800 (+1460) Russian troops
  • tanks - 7692 (+21) units
  • armored combat vehicles - 14858 (+40) units
  • artillery systems - 13029 (+48) units
  • MLRS - 1085 (+1) units
  • air defense systems - 815 units
  • UAVs of operational and tactical level - 10482 (+15) units
  • cruise missiles - 2221
  • motor vehicles and tankers - 17740 (+46) units
  • special equipment - 2122 (+4).

According to the Institute for War Studies, on May 27, Ukrainian forces made a minor advance north of Kharkiv towards Lyptsi. However, the Russians continued their attacks near Vovchansk.
