Spanish media feel Tottenham have a real talent on their hands

Having scored twice in the opener against France, Moore then added another to his name in the second game against Portugal.

However, he did not stop there as he curled home a stunning effort in Monday’s game against Spain to regain England’s lead.

The youngster just cannot stop scoring having netted 16 in 16 for Spurs across all competitions, as well as providing nine assists.

A bright future could be awaiting Moore and it seems the Spanish journalists watching him on Monday night were mightily impressed with what they saw.

Having shown the Spaniards just how big of a prospect he is, the Spanish media waxed lyrical about the Tottenham academy star.

Journalist Iker Lloveras wrote for Sport on Tuesday that Moore is a “jewel” with fans being urged to “remember his name”.

“The Mikey Moore thing is starting to get very serious, and in England they are dedicated to him, aware that they have a rough diamond to polish who can be very brilliant,” he added.

“We will have to be very attentive to his progress, because he will give us a lot to talk about.”

Should Ange Postecoglou trust Mikey Moore?

A big decision is seemingly hanging over Postecoglou in how he is going to handle Moore’s progression over the coming months.

The youngster will go into the new campaign having just turned 17-years-old and having not played in the Premier League 2 yet.

Clearly, there is trust there from Postecoglou who has given him his debut, but providing him with regular football to continue his development is a totally different matter.

Uprooting the likes of James Maddison and Heung-min Son would be a huge ask which may mean a season under Wayne Burnett with the U21s may be the best next step for Moore.

Of course, this summer could still see Postecoglou hand Moore some opportunities with an expectation for the youngster to travel on the tour of Asia this pre-season.
