Princess Kate has received tens of thousands of get-well-soon messages from members of the public.
Buckingham Palace has been inundated with gifts and cards for the royal following her video message which was released on March 22 2024.
The Princess of Wales announced in the emotional video that she had undergone preventative chemotherapy after cancer was found in tests following a significant abdominal surgery earlier this year.
The royal outlined that she would step back from all public duties to focus on her health and recovery.
Since the announcement, Buckingham Palace has been flooded with cards sending well wishes to the princess.
Palace officials have at times struggled to deal with the sheer volume of messages.
However, royal staff are aiming to reply to all the writers eventually.
The Prince and Princess of Wales have their own private office at Kensington Palace but all letters to members of the Royal Family are dealt with by the Court Post Office.
The number of letters that the Royal Family have been receiving has easily surpassed the average of around 1,000 a week before the disclosure of Princess Kate's health issues.
Earlier this month, a royal source has claimed the Princess of Wales may not appear in public until next year,
The princess is currently not scheduled to undertake any engagements for the rest of 2024.
A source told the Daily Beast: "Lots of people involved in planning need to know what all the principals are doing a long way in advance.
LATEST ROYAL NEWS:
"I am told that Kate’s diary for this year is empty. There is nothing planned. She may not appear in public for the rest of the year."
The Mail reported earlier today that Princess Kate has been "out and about" with her family during the last few weeks.
There is no indication that the princess will return to work in the near future but Kate has been spending time out with William and their children according to the publication.
Princess Kate has not attended a public engagement since December 2023.
