There’s nothing better than a McDonald’s Bagel Sandwich for breakfast and they’re finally back on the menu, but there’s one part that ruins them – the egg!
The popular item returned across most of the US earlier this year, and an ex-McDonald’s chef has revealed one genius hack which makes them so much better.
‘Greatest’ McDonald’s breakfast hack
“As you know, the Bagel Sandwiches are back at a lot of the McDonald’s restaurants in the United States,” Mike Haracz said in a viral TikTok video. “In my professional opinion, that’s pretty good but the worst egg that McDonald’s has is on this breakfast sandwich.”
He explained that the bagels include the folded egg that comes into stores frozen and already cooked, which isn’t very appetizing – but there’s an easy solution.

However, Haracz explained that those eggs are a little small for the bagels, so the “most incredible hack” is to ask for the scrambled egg that’s on the Big Breakfast, which he said is also “made fresh in the restaurant from liquid egg”.
“It is fluffier, it is more flavorful, it is more buttery, it fills up that Bagel Sandwich better than that really cheap little folded egg thing that they give you,” he claimed.
It may cost more to get scrambled egg in your Bagel Sandwich – but it will be totally worth it!
