Russian forces have increased the number of assaults on Chasiv Yar in the Donetsk region and are actively utilizing equipment, states the spokesperson of the Khortytsia military unit, Nazar Voloshyn.
As Voloshyn reported, Russian troops have decreased the number of air strikes but are actively engaging with artillery. Over the past day, more than 1100 mortar and artillery bombardments were recorded.
"Lately, the enemy has been conducting assaults using equipment. On average, the enemy army conducts 5-6 assaults per day. Over the past day in that direction, our defenders destroyed 47 occupiers, and 107 were wounded. The average statistics show that the enemy loses 50-60 soldiers during assaults," the spokesperson noted.
Yesterday, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that Russian troops are concentrating strikes near Chasiv Yar.
