Ukraine has appealed to the international community to increase pressure on North Korea after it attempted to launch a reconnaissance satellite, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized that Ukraine is deeply concerned about North Korea's attempt to launch a reconnaissance satellite.

"We strongly condemn Pyongyang's repeated violations of international law and relevant UN Security Council resolutions," the ministry clarified.

They added that such actions, including providing Russia with weapons for the war in Ukraine, significantly worsen the security situation in the region and the world.

"Ukraine calls for increased pressure from the international community on Pyongyang to comply with international law and ensure stability and security on the Korean Peninsula," the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated.
