Five-star wide receiver Jaime Ffrench names Lamborghini his dream NIL deal

Jaime Ffrench is not afraid to admit what he is looking for in a school.

A five-star prospect and one of the top wide receivers still available in the 2025 recruiting class, the Alabama decommit told On3 earlier this month that Texas has emerged as his top school heading into a crucial summer.

LSU and Miami sit at No. 2 and No. 3 in his recruitment. Tennessee is still in the mix, too. But making sure that school can check off NIL and development on his checklist will be crucial in the next month.

“You want to get taken care of anywhere you go, that’s just a big thing in college football now,” he said Tuesday at the On3 Elite Series. “So you want to make sure that’s a piece of it but also want to be sure you take care of the on-field stuff.”

Ffrench told On3 on Tuesday morning that his dream NIL deal would be to land a Lamborghini. Fittingly, former Texas running back Bijan Robinson signed an endorsement deal with Lamborghini Austin in May 2022. Specifics on the deal were not public, but the Texas running back was allowed to drive a Lamborghini off the lot and the contract was a year long.

Lamborghini Austin has continued to work with Texas athletes, signing Jordan Whittington, Jake Majors and Jaylan Ford as promotional partners in the 2023 class.

Ffrench did not go into specifics – however, he said he’s heard plenty about top recruits being paid to go on viists.

“Oh yeah, no doubt,” the 6-foot-1, 185-pound receiver said. “It happens to some guys, I’ve heard stories. But you just can’t put that first.”

Ffrench saw how Ohio State delivered for top 2024 wide receiver Jeremiah Smith on early National Signing Day. Making sure whichever program he decides on can deliver in a same fashion is at the top of his mind.

His top priority as he enters the final months of his recruitment is who will help him get to the NFL. The wide receiver emphasized to On3 that development and reaching the professional level far outweigh quick NIL cash. He’s pushing 25,000 social media followers, which will give him a strong foundation for brand deals when he reaches college.

“Man, I just feel like that’s another drive, just another add on to the mission,” Jaime Ffrench said. “Being a kid, all I ever wanted to do is get to the NFL. I just feel like NIL is a plus to it all. You only think about the big time. College is a pre-trial, you know? The NFL, that’s the big deal. That’s the main goal.”
