Russian strike on Kharkiv Epicenter: Death toll rises to 19

In Kharkiv, the number of casualties increased again after the Russian occupiers attacked the Epicenter hypermarket on May 25. One of the victims died in hospital, according to the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov.

“Unfortunately, a 40-year-old man who was wounded as a result of Russian attack on Epicenter died in hospital,” he says.

According to him, the man was in the burn intensive care unit and suffered flame burns reaching 50%.

Russian shelling of Kharkiv

Russian troops have been massively shelling Kharkiv lately. For example, on May 25, the Russian invaders hit the Epicenter hypermarket and the center of Kharkiv.

On May 26, 12 deaths were reported, and later the number of victims continued to grow. On May 28, 17 victims and more than 40 wounded were reported. As of May 27, 14 of the 16 victims were identified at the site of the attack on the Epicenter in Kharkiv. Among them was a 17-year-old teenager. On May 28, it was reported that 18 people were killed and 50 wounded.

Surveillance video showed that at least 20 people were at the epicenter of the explosions.
