'Pure emotion': Cole Palmer shares what his favourite goal for Chelsea has been

Chelsea star Cole Palmer has been speaking about his favourite goal for the club so far.

Cole Palmer joined Chelsea from Manchester City last summer and had no trouble finding the back of the net for his new side.

In total, the attacker scored 25 goals in 45 appearances for Chelsea this season, with 22 of those coming in the Premier League.

It is a lot of goals, and he has now been discussing his favourite one.

Palmer is set for a reunion with Enzo Maresca, whom he worked with at City. The Italian manager is reportedly set to join Chelsea on a five-year contract worth around €5m (£4.25m) per season.

Palmer actually scored against his former club in a 4-4 draw at Stamford Bridge.

He also punished their city rivals Manchester United in both of Chelsea’s Premier League games versus them, netting four times in total.

And it was his last strike, a stoppage-time winner at home, that Palmer enjoyed the most.

When asked about his favourite goal for Chelsea so far, the 22-year-old told the Daily Mirror: “I like the United one probably just for pure emotion.

“The Everton one at home, the one at Old Trafford. I’ve had a few that I like.”

Cole Palmer’s best goal for Chelsea

Palmer’s fourth goal against United this season was probably every Chelsea fan’s favourite of his given how late it came and who the opponents were.

However, his best strike was arguably his third against Everton, where he caught Jordan Pickford off his line.

Palmer did score a lot of penalties during this campaign. But the England international showed he is just as dangerous from open play.

To go with the 25 goals he scored, Palmer also registered 15 assists. He is now one of the best attackers in the Premier League, perhaps even the best at this moment in time.
