Officers were called following reports of a man walking down the road with a weapon.
People on Empress Road, Aylesford, reported the suspicious behaviour after concerns were raised that a handle belonging to a weapon had been seen under a man’s clothing.
Officers attended at 9.40am yesterday (May 28) and spoke to the man, however they discovered the item was a toy.
It comes after a post was shared online stating: “There is a guy dressed up in black walking around with a Samurai sword”.
