HITC understands Napoli have made it clear Khvicha Kvaratskhelia’s suitors that the Georgian won’t be leaving the club this summer.
Paris Saint-Germain have made was is described as an ‘exploratory’ offer to Napoli of around €60million – which is believed to be less than half Napoli’s asking price.
The move was confirmed by Kvaratskhelia’s agent Mamuka Jugeli, he told the Gazzetta.
“The interest from Saudi Arabia in is not true. There is interest and an offer from Paris Saint-Germain, everything depends on the decision of Napoli and Aurelio De Laurentiis.
“The boy is now focused on the European Championships, he wants to do well for Georgia’s first historic appearance in a major competition and doesn’t want to be distracted by anything else.”
Despite the interest, HITC is told that Napoli have ‘no interest’ in allowing Kvaratskhelia to leave.

HITC understands that almost all of England’s major clubs including – Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United, Tottenham and Newcastle – have at some point in the last 18-months watched Kvaratskhelia and registered their interest with Napoli, as have Real Madrid, Barcelona and Bayern Munich.
But Napoli have made it quite clear to all that have come calling that he is not available and that remains the course.
Kvaratskhelia, who many believe could be a star of Euro 2024 this summer with Georgia, has three-years left on his current deal and talks are ongoing over a new deal and sources with knowledge of the situation believe that he will ‘almost certainly’ sign a fresh contract with a release clause, very similar to how Victor Osimhen’s situation played out. His current deal does not contain a release clause.
The Nigerian – expected to move this summer – signed a new deal early in the New Year, which also had a set release clause and that is set to be met this summer with PSG and Chelsea battling for the Nigerian.
That is also the other big reason behind Kvaratskhelia likely staying this summer, as Napoli’s owner Aurelio De Laurentiis has no intention of losing both his prized assets in the same summer.
