The Russian army is discussing the possibility of involving conscripts in combat due to huge losses in battles near Vovchansk in the Kharkiv region, according to the partisan movement ATESH.

In a unit of the 18th Motorized Rifle Division of the Russian Armed Forces, the possible involvement of conscripts in combat is being discussed.

According to an agent, servicemen have heard about the losses of entire platoons in the division during the assaults on Vovchansk and understand that chances of survival are practically nonexistent.

"Such information is received without enthusiasm. Only a few conscripted servicemen agree to sign a contract with the Armed Forces," the message says.
