Scottie Scheffler is no longer facing charges after his arrest at the PGA Championship, and his arresting officer, Bryan Gillis, is speaking out. On Wednesday evening, Gillisreleased a statement that said there’s no “ill will” between him and Scheffler.

“Mr. Scheffler and I both agree there will be no ill will over this going forward,” Gillis said. “Instead of giving a negative public reaction, he chose to speak with dignity, humility and respect. My family and I appreciate that.”
