The Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine has officially confirmed the destruction of two Russian Tuna boats in Crimea. Footage of the operation has also been released, according to DIU.

"On May 30, the special unit of the Defense Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Group 13, once again successfully attacked the naval vessels of the aggressor state, Russia, in the temporarily occupied Crimea using Ukrainian Magura V5 strike sea drones," the statement reads.

According to DIU, in an attempt to neutralize the strike sea drones approaching the Vuzka Bay, Russian occupiers in Crimea scrambled combat aircraft 32 times, including Su-27/30/35, MiG-29, Be-12, An-26, and Ka-27/29 and Mi-8 helicopters. The invaders also randomly used small arms and 30-mm cannons.

"However, nothing prevented the DIU special forces from successfully completing their combat mission: as a result of the strike, two Russian boats were destroyed—preliminary data suggests they were high-speed transport-landing KS-701 Tuna boats. Information is being updated," the intelligence agency noted.
