Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will visit Saudi Arabia on Saturday, June 1, DPA reports.

A diplomatic source at the Ukrainian embassy in Riyadh told the agency that Zelenskyy plans to enlist support before the peace summit in Switzerland.

Peace summit

On September 15-16, Switzerland will become the center of international diplomacy, hosting a peace summit dedicated to finding ways to resolve Russia's war in Ukraine.

Ukraine and Switzerland have sent invitations to more than 150 countries, but Russia is not on the list. Among the confirmed participants is Côte d'Ivoire, which will take part in such an event for the first time at the initiative of Ukraine.

At the same time, Bloomberg reported that the EU wants to hold talks on peace in Ukraine with Russia's participation in Saudi Arabia after the peace summit.
