Czechia doesn't object to Ukraine using ammunition and weapons supplied by Prague to strike targets on Russian territory, stated Czech Minister of Foreign Affairs Jan Lipavský.

"Czechia has no problem with Ukraine defending itself against an aggressor," Jan Lipavský said.

According to him, this includes "attacks which necessarily need to take place in a Russian territory".

"This is the rule for the delivery which comes from Czechia," the Minister noted.

Strikes on Russian territory

Since February 24, 2022, when Russia initiated a full-scale invasion of Ukraine, allied countries have actively supported Ukraine, including providing military assistance. However, so far they have not allowed the use of their weapons on Russian territory.

Recently, there has been a tendency to reconsider this position.

However, not all countries are ready for this step. For example, Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani has expressed opposition to such a possibility.
