Although the club season has just ended for US men's national team players across Europe, many of them are already on their way to linkup with their fellow national teammates ahead of Copa America 2024.
2024 had it all in Europe's best leagues for Americans. We saw some lift trophies, some struggle to stay fit while others faced relegation battles as the season wore on.
Despite the challenges along the way for the Americans, there were still several players who went above and beyond to enjoy excellent individual seasons.
Here are the best USMNT players across Europe's top five leagues.
Premier League
1. Chris Richards - Crystal Palace
Chris Richards is coming off a 2023/24 season with Crystal Palace in which he starred for the majority of the campaign.
The 24-year-old managed 23 starts over the 38-game season and more than played his part in the Eagles' uptick in form after the appointment of Oliver Glasner.
2. Antonee Robinson - Fulham
Although Fulham didn't enjoy the best of seasons at Craven Cottage, Antonee Robinson sure made strides on an individual level to keep his place in the USMNT setup.
Robinson recorded six assists across the entire season, which isn't too shabby for a defender.
Bundesliga
3. Joe Scally - Borussia Monchengladbach
Joseph Scally is fresh off a Bundesliga campaign in which Borussia Monchengladbach flirted with relegation, but he himself managed to improve despite the noise around him.
The 21-year-old logged one goal and dished out four assists in 25 starts as M'Gladbach finished in 14th place.
La Liga
4. Johnny Cardoso - Real Betis
Johnny Cardoso may have appeared in only half of Real Madrid's matches after joining Real Betis in the winter transfer window, but he was efficient in the limited matches he appeared in.
The defensive midfielder went on to make 15 starts in the second half of the La Liga campaign to propel Betis to a seventh place finish.
Serie A
5. Christian Pulisic - AC Milan
Christian Pulisic appears to have got his mojo back after just on season in the Italian Serie A with AC Milan.
Fresh off a rough season at Chelsea, Pulisic went on to tally 12 goals and eight assists to fire Milan into second place and a Champions League spot for next term.
6. Yunus Musah - AC Milan
While Yunus Musah may not have had the same level of impact that Pulisic had during their first season at Milan, he still managed 30 appearances (13 starts) to provide stability in the middle of the park for the Italian giants.
The former Valencia player will hope to lockdown a midfield position as his own ahead of the upcoming campaign.
7. Weston McKennie - Juventus
Weston McKennie enjoyed a solid season with Juventus as he recorded seven assists in 34 appearances with the Old Lady.
McKennie also managed to add to his trophy cabinet as Juventus downed Atalanta in the Coppa Italia, 1-0, in a match that the former Schalke 04 player started in.
8. Tim Weah - Juventus
While fellow USMNT forward Pulisic took to life rather easily in Serie A, Tim Weah found it more difficult to adjust to a new league.
Perhaps it was because of Massimiliano Allegri's "tactics," or the fact that Weah was playing in more of wing-back role rather than a traditional winger. Regardless, Weah has plenty of talent that just needs to be unlocked for him to start making an impact week in and week out at Juventus.
Ligue 1
9. Folarin Balogun - AS Monaco
Folarin Balogun may have not reached the same numbers as he did during the 2022/23 campaign -- 22 goals for Stade de Reims -- but it was still a solid season for the American striker.
The former Arsenal forward managed seven goals and five assists in 19 starts for AS Monaco before it was all said and done, playing his part in the team's second place finish in Ligue 1.
