Jill Biden RIPS INTO Donald Trump as election campaign heats up - 'He can't put a sentence together!'

Jill Biden has slammed Donald Trump’s cognitive abilities, whilst warning voters that a choice between her husband and his opposition is a choice between “good and evil”.

The First Lady is one of the President’s staunchest supporters, batting back against criticisms about his age, diminishing poll numbers and policies, as the election campaign heats up.

During an interview on American panel show The View, the First Lady agreed with host Joy Behar’s assertion that the 45th president “can’t put a sentence together and has, like, brain farts in the middle of his paragraphs”.

Biden, who has been fundraising and campaigning for her husband, echoed the presenter’s words and predicted that the current President will come out on top in a debate against Trump.

Trump/Biden

“You’re gonna see how smart he [Biden] is and the experience he has. And then you’ll see somebody who, like you’re saying — I’m going to use Joy’s words — ‘can’t put a sentence together,” she said.

She also said that age should not be a factor when comparing the two contenders for the presidency, stating that Trump will soon be 78 and Biden is 81: “They’re basically the same age.”

Instead, she said that the election is about their characters. She explained: “You have my husband, Joe, who you all know who has integrity, he's strong, he's steady, he's a leader. He's smart. He's energetic or you have chaos.”

She said that to choose Trump in November would be an “evil choice” and said that the American public needs to see the 81-year-old and the 77-year-old debating on stage together to clearly see their options.

LATEST DEVELOPMENTS:

Biden

In a recent head-to-head matchup by RealClearPolitics, Trump is beating Biden by 1.1 per cent.

However, the First Lady did not seem threatened by the latest data: “Those polls are going to turn, I'm confident of it because as time goes on and as people start to focus a little more at what's at stake and start to become educated on the issues and the differences between the two men, I believe that Americans are going to choose good over evil.”

Trump campaign national spokesperson Karoline Leavitt shot back at the First Lady’s comments in a statement to The New York Post.

Trump

She said: “With all due respect to first lady Jill Biden, her husband is a walking zombie who can’t climb up stairs, talk, or read a script off a teleprompter.”

“Rather than go on The View and spew lies about President Trump to save her husband’s dying campaign, she should start packing her corrupt family’s bags because they’ll be leaving the White House very soon.”

The First Lady appeared on the talk show to present her upcoming children’s book which tells about life in the White House from the perspective of the couple’s cat, Willow.

However, much of her promotional tour has been focused on endorsing her husband’s presidential bid.
