A far-right influencer who targeted drag queen story hours has been charged with possession of child pornography, according to police releases and reports.

The Boston Globe revealed Thursday that Stephen Thomas Farrea, a reported member of the neo-Nazi organization Nationalist Social Club-131, was arrested on Friday.

Nationalist Social Club-133 is well known for disrupting drag queen story hours and calling the performers names such as "pedo scum," according to the report.

A press release from the Portsmouth Police Department states officers received a tip, obtained a search warrant, and seized electronic devices with explicit material from Farrea's home.

Farrea was "arraigned on one count of possession, and his bail was set at $5,000 with surety," according to the release.

In 2022, Farrea had another run-in with police when he was seen white nationalist recruiting flyers in a predominantly Black neighborhood, reports show.

Farrea was a Marine Corps corporal but was discharged in 2019 after it was revealed he was a white supremacist and pushed his ideology online, the Globe reported at the time.

Group leader Christopher Hood told his telegram channel in Sept. 2023, “Obviously, our government isn’t going to do anything about these invaders, or the drag queens, or Antifa," according to the Southern Poverty Law Center. "This is in our hands. And the only thing that’s stopping us from eliminating these factions is us and our own inability to get with the program."
