Stefanie Cohen Magarici, a prominent fitness influencer and professional boxer based in Florida, has found herself embroiled in a high-profile controversy after being accused of hacking her ex-boyfriend's computer and leaking a woman's nude photos.

This alleged incident has tarnished Magarici's reputation and raised questions about the ethical boundaries of social media influencers and the potential consequences of their actions.

Magarici of Miami, known online as Stefi Cohen, has built a significant following on social media platforms, particularly Instagram, where she has amassed over 1 million followers.

As a fitness enthusiast and professional boxer, Magarici has cultivated an image of strength, discipline, and healthy living, inspiring her followers to pursue their own fitness goals.

According to the reports, the controversy surrounding Magarici began in November 2023, when she was accused of accessing her ex-boyfriend's laptop by guessing "commonly used passwords" and gaining access to his iCloud account.

Once inside, Magarici allegedly obtained sexually explicit photos of a woman and began sharing them among various group chats, an act that the victim claimed was done "maliciously and with the intent to cause emotional distress."

The victim, who was in a relationship with Magarici's ex-boyfriend, claimed that Magarici had informed her of the leak and even admitted to leaking the photos with the intent of "exposing and humiliating her."

The Miami-Dade Police Department (MDPD) became involved in the case after the victim and Magarici's ex-boyfriend met with them in April 2023 to provide additional information regarding the alleged incident. The police subsequently arrested Magarici in Miami's Coconut Grove neighborhood, where she was reportedly uncooperative and attempted to resist arrest.

After being released from jail on Wednesday, Magarici took to Instagram to defend herself against the allegations, stating that "anyone can be falsely accused of a crime and arrested" and that these were "only allegations from a vengeful ex-boyfriend." She promised to "fight it all the way" and assured her followers that she would keep them updated on the case.

Cohen is set to appear back in court on June 27.
