Zelenskyy highlighted that three of these deals were signed in recent days.
"Spain, Belgium, Portugal — three more substantial documents confirming long-term support for our people," Zelenskyy wrote in a Telegram post.
The agreements include various modes of defense cooperation, support for Ukraine’s accession to the European Union and NATO, and participation in attracting a broad array of world leaders to the upcoming Global Peace Summit in Switzerland.
Earlier on May 30, Financial Times reported that Zelenskyy and U.S. President Joe Biden would sign a bilateral security agreement during the G7 meeting in Italy, ahead of the Swiss summit scheduled for June 16-17.
As of May, Ukraine has signed 12 bilateral security agreements with the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Denmark, Canada, Italy, the Netherlands, Finland, Latvia, Belgium, Spain, and Portugal.
