Zelenskyy to visit Singapore to attend security summit

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is set to participate in the Shangri-La Dialogue security conference in Singapore this weekend, according to Reuters.

Security assistance for Ukraine is expected to be among the key topics discussed at this year's dialogue, the premier security conference in Asia. Among the conference attendees are US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin and China's Defense Minister Dong Jun.

Two sources told reported that Zelenskyy will address the Shangri-La Dialogue delegates on Saturday.

The Russian delegation has not participated in the Singapore security meetings since 2022.

Zelenskyy's foreign visits

Starting earlier this week, Zelenskyy has embarked on several foreign visits, including to Spain, Portugal, and Belgium, to sign security assurance agreements.

On May 31, the head of state headed to Stockholm, where he also intends to sign security assurance agreements. It is already known that such an agreement has been signed with Sweden.

Citing diplomatic sources, DPA reported that Zelenskyy will visit Saudi Arabia on June 1.

Additionally, French President Emmanuel Macron has announced Zelenskyy's visit to Normandy.
