Report: The actual price Everton would sell Jarrad Branthwaite for this summer amid Manchester United interest

The actual price Everton would be willing to sell Manchester United target Jarrad Branthwaite for has been revealed.

Unsurprisingly, the defender’s future has been one of the main talking points since the culmination of the 2023/24 season.

The Cumbrian was a standout performer for Sean Dyche’s men, forming a formidable partnership alongside James Tarkowski.

Manchester United are reportedly interested in the 21-year-old, although there have been suggestions Branthwaite is happy to extend his stay at Goodison Park.

Arguably Everton’s most valuable player, the club will be looking to land a considerable fee should they be forced to sell this summer.

And the early signs are that Branthwaite won’t be sold on the cheap.

The latest report from the Daily Mail shares the latest.

They wrote: “Jarrad Branthwaite is another who has consistently been linked with a move away but Everton will try to persuade the England defender to stay put for another year at least.”

It’s believed Everton value the 21-year-old in the region of £90million, with Josko Gvariol and Harry Maguire’s moves used as a benchmark.

Furthermore, “sources” close to the club suggest that Branthwaite’s value has been boosted due to him being young, English and left-footed.

Jarrad Branthwaite leaving Everton this summer would come as a surprise

With Everton valuing Branthwaite in the region of £90million, an exit this summer feels unlikely.

In a world dominated by PSR and FFP, it would be a huge shock to see another Premier League club meet the Toffees’ demands.

Furthermore, with Branthwaite seemingly in no rush to leave, Everton’s valuation will have to be met in order for any transfer to take place.

The perfect scenario for Evertonians would involve the ownership situation becoming resolved and their star man agreeing on a new long-term contract.

Making the 21-year-old a key figure in the coming years would be a massive statement of intent.
