Britain did not give Ukraine “100% permission” to use Storm Shadow missiles against the Russian Federation, according to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

“We raised this issue twice. We did not get confirmation from him (David Cameron)," said the President.

At the same time, he suggested that the final decision of the UK and the other allies of Kyiv would depend on “consensus.” However, the United States will have the final say.

Restrictions on the use of weapons

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, Ukraine's partners have been actively supplying weapons to Kyiv. At the same time, there is a condition on the non-use of weapons against Russian territory. Recently, partners have begun to reconsider their decision, including Britain.
