Khloe Kardashian has sparked uproar on social media after she claimed she was "exhausted" looking after her children and wished she had live-in nannies for some extra help.
During Thursday's episode of The Kardashians, the 39-year-old opened up to her older sister Kourtney Kardashian about how her ex-boyfriend and father of her children Tristan Thompson was out of town - playing for the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA.
Despite acknowledging that Thompson was "a big help when he's here", Kardashian went on to express her annoyance that she didn't have more help and was "exhausted" from looking after her children.
"And, you know, I don't have nannies at night, which I might have to change or at least have someone be available sometimes."
Her concerns arose whilst she explained why she decided to turn down the opportunity to join on a family trip to Paris Fashion Week, adding: "I just didn't feel like it was the place for me. I was just getting anxious leaving the kids.
"Tristan is gone and it's hard for me to leave them and I don't have like a parent to stay with them and then I was thinking, the whole family was out of the country, and I was like: 'What if there's an earthquake? What if there's something?' There's no parent. I was just freaking myself out."
When asked by her older sister: "So you have no one that lives in right now?" Khloe confirmed that she did not, noting that she herself was "so hands-on" with her children.
The Good American owner revealed she prepares breakfast and lunch for her daughter every day and said: "I do everything and no one… I don't let anyone else do it. Tristan has done it, but I'm so particular. Oh my gosh, I can't even think about that.
"Listen, I love my routine. I love being with my kids, but being a parent is hard and it's f***ing every day after 8.30 when True's asleep, I am like crawling like I'm Leonardo DiCaprio in Wolf of Wall Street like: 'How do I get there?' Then you wake up again and do it all over."
She went on to point out that her daily parenting tasks included making cookie-cutter hearts out of watermelon and added: "God forbid you don't, but like at the same time it's like, all you want is… it's the weirdest f***ing thing.
"Cause you're exhausted and you're like: 'I'm gonna die,' and then literally when they're asleep then I'm like: 'I miss them'. Like, get it together Khloe! Snap out of it."
However, whilst her older sister found sympathy for the way she was feeling, many were infuriated by her reasonings and took to their social media accounts to slam the star.
One viewer shared: "Welcome to the real world," before many shared the same sentiment and reminded her she was privileged to even have the option of hiring nannies.
"Just shut up already! You have maids, chefs, and daytime help! Talk to real women who do it all...on their own! Yuck!" another remarked before a third added: "But has a chef, a maid, an assistant, and a nanny during the day. Give me a break."

"Exhausted caring for 2 children?" someone else said, as a fifth noted: "So are the rest of us that are doing it not in a $20million mansion."
Another sarcastically responded: "Folks I'm exhausted but I have all these professional people on speed dial if needed. Boy, what a rough life I have." (sic)
Whilst many were confused with Kardashian's outcry, some jumped to her defence and stated that parenting was hard no matter how much money or help you have.
