Germany has eased its ban on Ukraine for strikes with its weapons against the Russian Federation. This decision came as the country adapted to the new conditions of war, states German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius.

Pistorius emphasized that he considers it the right decision to allow Kyiv to target specific military objects in Russia with German weapons.

"This is what we have always done from the beginning of the war that Putin is waging against Ukraine. We have adapted to the situation, adjusted our strategy in each specific case," he said.

Strikes on Russian territory

Against the backdrop of the Russian advance into the Kharkiv region, discussions about allowing Ukraine to attack targets in Russia with Western weapons have become more frequent.

Currently, permission for Ukraine to use their weapons for strikes on targets in Russia has been granted by the United Kingdom, Denmark, Czechia, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Canada, the Baltic countries, and the United States.

It is worth noting that today, the United States clarified the limits of permission for strikes on Russia.
