In Nikopol, Russian drone attacks minibus - Child among injured

On the morning of June 1st, Russians attacked Nikopol in Dnipropetrovsk region. An enemy drone struck a minibus, according to the Ukrainian Minister of Internal Affairs Ihor Klymenko on Telegram.

According to him, an enemy FPV drone attacked a minibus, resulting in injuries to four individuals, including a child.

Serhii Lysak, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, noted that Russians shelled Nikopol with artillery from the evening of May 31st. The morning in the city also began with shelling.

According to the Regional Military Administration, a 7-year-old girl, a 69-year-old man, and two women aged 74 and 68 years are among the injured. They are receiving necessary medical assistance.

Ukraine shelling on June 1st

On the first day of summer, Russian forces once again attacked Ukraine, launching 53 missiles of various types and 47 kamikaze drones. Ukrainian defenders shot down 35 missiles and 46 Shahed drones; however, some hits were unavoidable.

During this night, the enemy targeted energy infrastructure. Damage occurred in Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Kirovohrad, and Ivano-Frankivsk regions.

Additionally, Russians shelled two Ukrainian power plants, resulting in significant equipment damage.
