John Lennon and Yoko Ono's son, Sean Ono Lennon, lashed out at Prince Harry on X and did not hesitate in calling out the fiery-haired prince.

"Actually, I am aware [that we have things in common]," the singer-songwriter stated. "We met once. That was before I realized he was an idiot."

Sean Ono Lennon wrote of his disappointment in Prince Harry on his X profile. MEGA

"It was a pun," he added. "But he deserves to be mocked after that todger episode. He’ll be fine."

The "todger" mention was a callback to a section in the royal rebels' memoir, Spare, in which HRH spoke about his private parts getting frostbite which he then treated with his late mother, Diana, Princess of Wales' favorite face creams.

Amid a wave of pushback for his tweets, Lennon doubled down on his decision to criticize the bestselling author.

"That is very sad," he replied to a comment mentioning the trauma in Harry's past. "I don’t hold any of that against him. It’s the stupidity that bothers me. Just because I made a joke does not mean I don’t empathize with him. I do actually."

He continued: "Also why I’m very disappointed with his outlook. I was hoping he’d be smarter."

This follows reports about the apparent precarious state of Harry's mental health as he nears the age of 40 on September 15.

"Harry has pressed the self-destruct button, and he is going ahead with what he thinks is right, and I think he will come unstuck," former royal butler to Princess Diana, Paul Burrell, said on behalf of Spin Genie. "I don’t think all their plans are going to pan out, I think there is a timescale to his destruction."

The former palace aide, who served as Diana's personal butler from 1987 until her death 10 years later, added: "I think they are just letting him get on with it now; I don’t think they are too happy about it, but Harry is taking another step closer all the time to isolation."

Burrell then pointed out how "none of this would have happened and there wouldn’t be this mess if Diana was still here because she would have cleared it up, but there is no one to do it, and so it is going to rumble on because nobody is brave enough to stick their neck out and no one is strong enough for Harry to listen to."

Prince Harry left the British royal family in March 2020. MEGA

This insight cames after the moment the Montecito prince paid tribute to his mother via video at March 14's Diana Awards. This was only after his estranged brother, Prince William, appeared in person to lament the work of their late mother and congratulate this year's winners.

The Duke of Sussex became a bestselling author shortly after the release of his 2023 memoir, 'Spare.' MEGA
