Russia's losses in a week: About 9,000 occupants and almost 1,500 pieces of equipment

Ukraine's commander of the Ground Forces Oleksandr Pavliuk released data on Russia's losses in the war in Ukraine for the week of May 26 to June 2. The Armed Forces of Ukraine eliminated 8,670 Russian military personnel. Additionally, 1,443 pieces of weaponry and equipment were destroyed.

The total combat losses of the Russian military on May 26 to June 2 are approximately:

  • 8,670 personnel eliminated,
  • tanks - 103 units
  • armored combat vehicles - 177 units,
  • artillery systems - 280 units,
  • MLRS - 6 units,
  • air defense systems - 7 units,
  • operational and tactical level UAVs - 274 units,
  • cruise missiles - 59 units,
  • automotive vehicles and tankers - 453 units,
  • special equipment - 84 units.

Russia's losses in Ukraine

As of June 2, Russian losses in the war in Ukraine for the day amounted to 1,080 occupiers. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the aggressor has lost 509,860 soldiers. Additionally, Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed 25 tanks and 49 artillery systems within the day.

According to Pavliuk's data, in May, the Air Defense Forces of the Ground Forces destroyed 218 enemy reconnaissance and attack UAVs, specifically:

  • Shahed-131/136 UAVs - 66 units
  • Zala UAVs - 37 units
  • Supercam UAVs - 6 units
  • Lancet UAVs - 86 units
  • Orlan-10 UAVs - 16 units
  • Privet 82 UAVs - 6 units
  • Other UAVs - 1 unit

Furthermore, units of the Ground Forces continue to successfully intercept a significant number of tactical UAVs from the enemy, including FPV drones.

Moreover, in May 2024, the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed 1,160 Russian artillery systems. This marks a record number of artillery pieces lost by Russia in a single month.
