BruceDropEmOff announced his return on Twitch on June 1, and in his first stream, revealed the reason behind the “homecoming.”
“Worst I’ve been on Kick for a year. I’m not going to lie to you. It was the worst time I’ve ever had in streaming. In the beginning, it was cool. But I learned so much s**t behind the scenes, from like being behind the scenes and knowing s**t – it just kind of f**ked up my love for streaming.” He said.
He said the platform lacks creativity and pushes a streamer to do the “craziest s–t.” If you didn’t do something out of the pocket, your content was lame, BruceDropEmOff said. He explained that the content strategy at Kick didn’t make sense to him at all, which caused him to lose motivation to stream and get lazy.
While he doesn’t have a clean slate on Twitch either, with four bans to his name, BruceDropEmOff’s return is now starting a “Twitch revival” and “Kick downfall” discourse. This is likely due to his brutally honest review of Kick, which is now making rounds on social media.
However, fans are excited about his return and are looking forward to new content. His first stream on Twitch peaked at 44,299 viewers, which was pretty impressive.
