Wrexham AFC is coming to the United States and Canada on the Wrex Coast Tour 2024 to play three fixtures before they start their League One campaign for the 2024/25 season.
After Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney purchased Wrexham AFC back in 2020, the oldest club in Wales went from obscurity to a household name. Welcome to Wrexham, the docuseries that follows the team as they seek promotion each season, became such a hit in the U.S. that fans are eager to see the Red Dragons play in person.
Fortunately, the club is traveling stateside this summer to play against two Premier League sides in friendly matches for the American audience. Here's a breakdown of the important dates and fixtures before the tour kicks off.
Wrexham US tour 2024 dates
The Wrexham U.S. tour 2024 dates are as follows:
- July 20, 2024: Wrexham AFC vs. AFC Bournemouth
- July 24, 2024: Wrexham AFC vs. Chelsea
The Men's First Team will play on July 27, 2024 against the Vancouver Whitecaps in Canada as well.
The Wrexham Women's First Team will also compete in the U.S. this summer on the following dates:
- July 19, 2024: Wrexham AFC Women vs. SoCal FC
- July 21, 2024: Wrexham AFC Women vs. Tigres Femenil Under-19s
- July 26, 2024: Wrexham AFC Women vs. Portland Thorns Academy

Wrexham US tour 2024 how to watch
As of now, it is unclear if fans will be able to watch the Wrex Coast Tour in the United States. Typically, a subscription to iFollow grants you access to all of Wrexham's matches, but Sky Sports has officially become the home of the EFL for the next five years, including all of Wrexham's fixtures for the 2024/25 season.
Fortunately, the match against Chelsea will be easy and free to watch; all fans need to do is download The 5th Stand app to catch the game.
