Who Kentucky offered following first two days of June camps

Camp season for Kentucky football is officially underway. Throughout the first two weeks of June, the Wildcats will host a total of seven camps spanning from June 2-12.

So far, Kentucky has hosted the Sunday Showcase Camp (June 2) and the first of four Wildcat One Day Camps (June 3). By our count, a total of 12 high school prospects left camp with offers from the Wildcats in hand — half of them coming from the Bluegrass State. More will surely come after camp season wraps up in a little over a week.

Who did the Wildcats offer through the first two days of camp? Let’s find out below, but first, here is a quick word for our sponsor.

Noah King (’25 ATH) 6-2, 195 | Hamilton (Cincinnati, OH) –> KSR interview

  • Noah King came into his camp visit on Sunday with offers from West Virginia and Oregon State, along with ones from several mid-major schools. How the defensive back performed in front of Kentucky coaches would be significant. King did enough to earn a scholarship from Vince Marrow and quickly locked in an official visit for June 18. If Kentucky ultimately wants to take his commitment, he’s the Wildcats to lose. 247Sports and Rivals rank him as a three-star recruit.

Paul McClure (’25 OL) 6-2, 275 | Boyle County (Danville, KY)

  • Paul McClure picked up a preferred walk-on scholarship following his impressive camp showing on Sunday. The Boyle County product is one of six Bluegrass prospects to receive an offer through the first two days of camp. Doubling as a wrestler for the Rebels, McClure is one of five players in Boyle County history to join the “1100 lb Elite Club” (lifting a combined 1,110 pounds across bench, squat, and power clean), which also includes Kentucky redshirt freshman DL Tommy Ziesmer.

Owen Winder (’26 OT) 6-7, 290 | Dexter (Dexter, MI) –> KSR+ interview

  • Owen Winder received an offer following Monday’s camp from offensive line coach Eric Wolford. Duke has also offered, as have plenty of mid-major schools. Michigan State and BYU are in the mix. Expect Winder to be a target for Wolford moving forward. 247Sports ranks him as a three-star recruit.

Evan Hampton (’26 RB) 6-0, 200 | Owensboro (Owensboro, KY) –> KSR breakdown

  • Evan Hampton is a name that die-hard Kentucky baseball fans are already familiar with. He committed to Nick Mingione’s program last year. But on Monday, Marrow offered him a scholarship to play football. Hampton posted that he ran a 4.42 40-yard dash on the laser at UK. He rushed for over 1,500 yards as a sophomore for Owensboro in 2023. Could he wind up as a dual-sport athlete for the Wildcats?

Lucas Tielsch (’26 OT) 6-7, 295 | Copley (Copley, OH)

  • Lucas Tielsch has seen his stock rise since the new year began. He’s received offers from the likes of Louisville, Ball State, Bowling Green, Western Michigan, and Buffalo. Following Sunday’s camp, Wolford extended him an offer. Tielsch was an All-District selection in 2023 and also partakes in shot put and discus for the track and field team. 247Sports ranks him as a three-star recruit.

Jordan Holman (’27 ATH) 6-2 195 | Woodford County (Versailles, KY)

  • Jordan Holman is another local recruit and his offer came from Marrow following Sunday’s camp. The Woodford County product was also at one of UK’s spring practices in early April. Holman started his high school career at Trinity in Louisville but will play for the Yellow Jackets as a sophomore.

Max Hunt (’27 TE) 6-6, 195 | Holy Cross (Covington, KY)

  • Max Hunt is only a rising sophomore, but he’s already 6-foot-6. The Holy Cross (Covington) product received his first Division I offer from Kentucky via Marrow after Monday’s camp. Primarily a basketball player, Hunt stood out to Marrow at camp and it ultimately led to an offer. If he can add some extra muscle over the next year or two, he’ll be a prospect to monitor. Hunt has more camp visits to other schools coming this month.

Jacob Burns (’27 OL) 6-7, 295 | Tabor Academy (Marion, MA)

  • Jacob Burns is one of two Tabor Academy (MA) prospects who camped on Monday and left Lexington with offers. Burns came into the camp with scholarship opportunities from the likes of Boston College, Syracuse, Duke, NC State, Maryland, and a few others. Wolford extended him the offer. Burns is another recruit to keep a close eye on moving forward.

Trae Taylor (’27 QB) 6-2, 180 | Carmel Catholic (Mundelein, IL) –> KSR interview

  • Trae Taylor was arguably the most talented camper through the first two days. He ultimately picked up an offer from Kentucky following Monday’s camp by way of new offensive coordinator Bush Hamdan. Michigan, Maryland, Miami (FL), Colorado, Illinois, Purdue, NC State, and several mid-major schools have also offered. Taylor made it to UK earlier in the spring for a practice and plans to return this fall for an unofficial visit. Don’t be surprised if the rising sophomore out of Illinois is a nationally-ranked recruit by this time next year.

Peter Bourque (’27 QB) 6-4, 195 | Tabor Academy (Hingham, MA)

  • Peter Bourque joins Taylor as the two quarterbacks offered through the first two camp days. Also suiting up for Tabor Academy in Massachusetts, he holds additional offers from the likes of Maryland, Syracuse, Toldeo, and Rhode Island. Hamdan extended this offer on Monday, as well.

Spencer Clukey (’27 TE/DE) 6-4, 230 | Covington Catholic (Covington, KY)

  • Spencer Clukey received his first Division I offer after Monday’s camp, which came from Marrow. Splitting time at tight end and defensive end for Covington Catholic, we can quickly draw comparisons to current Kentucky freshman TE Willie Rodriguez, who filled a similar role for the Colonels during his time at Cov Cath.

Thomas Sizemore (’28 RB/LB) 6-0, 185 | Lexington Christian Academy (Lexington, KY)

  • Thomas Sizemore is the lone 2028 prospect (rising high school freshman) to receive an offer following the first two camp days. There’s some familiarity there with him being from Lexington Christian Academy, the same school that Kentucky freshman QB Cutter Boley attended. LCA head coach Doug Charles says that Sizemore “has as good a freshman body as we’ve seen at LCA”.
