The beginning of June will define how summer and even the entire year of 2024 will unfold for Ukraine. It's about the Peace Summit and more, according to the evening address of the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
President stated that he had given several instructions regarding the preparation for the upcoming meeting of the Staff of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief and further decisions.
Zelenskyy emphasized that Ukraine sees threats and must be prepared to respond accordingly.
"It's only the beginning of June, and already these weeks will define both the summer and much of this year," the president added.
According to him, this is about the Peace Summit, Ukraine's relations with the European Union, positions on the front line, as well as domestic production.
The head of state added that Ukraine is doing everything possible on each of these fronts to achieve results.
Peace Summit
On June 15-16, the first Summit on the Ukrainian peace formula at the leaders' level will take place in Switzerland. Over 100 states have already confirmed their participation.
During the event, Ukraine plans to address three topics. Among them are the release of prisoners and the return of deported children.
