‘Arch-hypocrite’ Prince Harry blasted over Archie and Lilibet missing time with royal cousins: ‘Family not important to him!’

Prince Harry is a "arch-hypocrite" for not bringing his children over to the UK to visit their distant relatives, a US journalist has claimed.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex undertook a three-day tour of Nigeria last week and left their two children, Archie and Lilibet, behind.

Two-year-old Lilibet has only visited the UK once, for Queen Elizabeth's Platinum Jubilee in 2022 and the King's other grandson Archie hasn't been to England since either.

Harry recently visited the UK for the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games and also visited earlier in the year when it was revealed that his father had been diagnosed with cancer.

Speaking to GBN America, US journalist Lee Cohen said: "It is sad to imagine grandchildren not seeing their grandparents.

"You want to imagine that Harry has been sincere in his overtures to see his father during his health challenges and that he sincerely cares that his children will know their family and their heritage through Harry.

"Who but an arch hypocrite expresses love for and yearning to see family while shockingly betraying and attacking them?

"Family doesn't seem important to Harry and his wife, who have both earned strained relationships for themselves and, by extension, their children on both sides of the Atlantic.

"And once again, the hypocrisy, narcissism and self-interest are front and centre with all of this behaviour rather than seemingly any caring for family or attachment to family."

Harry reportedly pleaded with Meghan to come with him to the UK for the Invictus Games ceremony.

An insider told New magazine: “It's now got to the point where Meghan doesn't want to come to the UK with the children. She just doesn't feel safe.

“The situation is now about whether the family should attend with increased security or Harry should go it alone.”

The source added: “Harry doesn't want to keep making solo trips to the UK.

"He would prefer it if the entire family made regular visits to see his family and build bridges, but there is so much going on behind the scenes that it just isn't possible at the moment.

“Both Harry and Meghan were planning to come to the UK, but when the exact time and date of their appearance [at the Invictus ceremony] were made public, she started to rethink that idea.”

Harry and Meghan stepped down as working members of the Royal Family in 2020, and moved to the US, via a short stay in Canada to start their new lives.

It was previously reported that Meghan does not want to return to the UK because she refuses to “dive back into the soap opera,” according to royal author Omid Scobie.
