TV star lives in 'mouldy house without a shower' for a valid reason

Some of the biggest YouTubers are gracing screens this June on Inside the Sidemen. The Sidemen’s venture into reality TV sees some famous faces competing for a big cash prize. Joe Weller, Specs Gonzalez, Angry Ginge, Manrika Khan, and more celebrities are set to live in one big house together.

The Inside the Sidemen contestants get accustomed to their new home during episode 1. And while Chloe Burrows and Joe Weller were turning their noses up at the fact they’re sleeping in single beds, there’s one person appearing on the show who’s likely loving his new digs.

Angry Ginge on Inside the Sidemen

Twenty-two-year-old Angry Ginge says he’s “best known for being one of the best gamers in the world.”

He stars in the all-new YouTube series which kicked off on June 2.

Speaking of why he wanted to take part in the reality TV show, he said he grew up watching shows like Big Brother with his mum on the sofa.

He said: “Opportunity to do something similar… I thought ‘why not?’.”

Angry Ginge details his less-than-perfect house

When Angry Ginge entered the house on Inside the Sidemen, he said he “wasn’t looking forward to not streaming for a week,” but he was very excited to see a dartboard on the wall.

Talk turned to who was set to share the house’s one double bed, but Ginge was adamant he was fine sleeping in a single bed.

The gaming pro revealed in an interview last year that his own home isn’t exactly perfect for him.

Speaking on CaughtOnBodyCam (@caughtonbodycam3) he described his home as a “sh**hole.”

Angry Ginge said: “People say I live in a pub… windows single glazed, don’t have a shower, carpet’s been down for thirty years, wallpaper’s coming off the walls…”

However, there is method to his madness as he said the rent is “£350 per month.”

He said he was willing to carry on living there “so he can save up for a house,” adding how he would hold off on any complaints about “mould” and “the roof,” for that reason, concluding “as long as I don’t die.”
