Russians strike near store in Donetsk region with guided aerial bombs: One killed and one wounded

Today, June 5, Russian occupiers struck near a grocery store in the city of Toretsk, Donetsk region, with a guided aerial bomb (KAB). The attack resulted in fatalities and injuries, according to the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor's Office.

The strike occurred around 10:20 AM. The enemy dropped a KAB-250 near the grocery store. The attack killed a 44-year-old man who sustained injuries incompatible with life.

Additionally, four women aged 68 to 86 were injured. All were hospitalized and are currently receiving qualified medical assistance.

Shelling of Ukraine

On the night of June 5, Russian terrorists used 27 Shahed-131/136 strike UAVs against Ukraine. The drones were launched from Russia’s Kursk region and temporarily occupied Crimea.

Anti-aircraft missile units, mobile fire groups, and electronic warfare units of the Air Force were involved in repelling the attack.

In total, 22 UAVs were destroyed in the:

  • Mykolaiv region;
  • Kherson region;
  • Dnipropetrovsk region;
  • Sumy region;
  • Poltava region.
