Tounde Yessoufou is among Mark Pope’s top targets for the 2025 recruiting cycle. The 6-foot-5, 210-pound bruiser has seen his stock rise significantly thanks to an impressive run on the Nike EYBL circuit this spring. His accolades just keep on coming, too.

Yessoufou was one of 117 participants at the 2024 Pangos All-American Camp in Las Vegas, which began on Sunday and wrapped up on Tuesday. Suiting up for Team North Carolina, he continued his stellar performances by playing his way into the Top 30 Game on Tuesday — the final and most prestigious All-Star Game of the event.

Fueled by 20 points from Yessoufou, Top 30 Red took down Top 30 Blue by a final score of 114-106. Yessoufou added three rebounds to his stat line as well while shooting 6-10 overall, 3-7 from deep, and a perfect 5-5 from the line. As a result, he was named co-MVP of the game alongside Jacob Lanier, who dropped 19 points for the losing team.

While there weren’t many other Kentucky targets at the camp, one of them, four-star guard Jerry Easter, linked up with Yessoufou for a lob pass that ended with a massive left-handed jam. The kid has some hops. After a ratings bump earlier this week, Yessoufou is now ranked No. 15 overall in the 2025 class by On3.

Following the camp, On3’s Jamie Shaw named Yessoufou as the second-best player he saw play at the entire event.

“Tounde Yessoufou showed the full bag throughout the Pangos All-American Camp,” Shaw wrote. “The 6-foot-5 wing displayed his patented defense, guarding up and down a lineup, while disrupting play with his quick hands, strong frame, and tenacious mentality. He also put consistent pressure on the defense with his relentless pursuit of touching the paint.

“Yessoufou is a strong and physical player, he is also lengthy and explosive. The development in his pace has been noticeable, and so has the work on his jump shot. While finishing over 20 points in three of his four pool play games, Yessoufou was 6-11 from three on Sunday. His stock continues to rise.”

Prior to the Top 30 Game on Tuesday, Yessoufou played in four games for Team North Carolina. Although his team posted a 1-3 record, the native of West Africa finished with per-game averages of 18 points, 3.8 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 1.5 steals while shooting 48.2 percent from the field, 46.4 percent (13-28) from deep, and 100 percent from the line.

As of right now, Yessoufou’s only official visit is to Arizona from June 16-18. But don’t be surprised if he makes his way to Lexington at some point, as well.
