The 2024 MLS All-Star Captain Fan Vote presented by Captain Morgan is around the corner giving fans the opportunity to let their voices be heard.
Inter Miami's star duo of Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez are off to a great start on the scoring front tied for second in the league with 12 each. Messi also leads the league in assists and is sure to garner tons of votes for the All-Star Game this year. Real Salt Lake's Cristian Arango is in the driver's seat for the Golden Boot while LA Galaxy's Riqui Puig is the midfield maestro of the season so far for many.
MLS All-Star is a special week-long event celebrating the best players in the United States’ top flight. Captain Morgan is once again the presenting partner for this year's MLS All-Star Captain Fan Vote and will help fans cast votes to decide who will have the honor of captaining the side against Liga MX's best.
Fans cast votes through the MLS website or app once a day during each of the two voting phases.
How does the MLS All-Star Captain vote work?
Phase 1 enables fans to choose their All-Star starting eleven and nominate one of their selections to be captain of the squad. The four captains that received the most votes then go head-to-head in a final fan vote to decide who will be the 2024 MLS All-Star captain.
The player nominated to lead the side will wear a custom captain's armband during the game against Liga MX All-Stars. Last season Captain Morgan began a tradition by collaborating with a local artist to create a unique design that celebrated the spice and uniqueness of the league's fandom. This year, Captain Morgan and the MLS teamed up with Columbus-based artist Adam Hernandez to create this year’s spiced up design.

Last year, the MLS All-Stars faced off against Premier League runner-up Arsenal. FC Cincinnati midfielder Luciano Acosta captained the side beating out D.C. United's Christian Benteke, St. Louis CITY SC goalkeeper Roman Burki and Nashville SC's Walker Zimmerman.
The Captain Fan Vote presented by Captain Morgan presents a great opportunity for fans to have their say in who represents Major League Soccer. Pride is always on the line in all-star games for players, but there’s the extra spice and satisfaction in captaining a team chosen by the fans.
When is the 2024 MLS All-Star Game?
MLS All-Stars will face off against Liga MX's All-Stars on July 24. The All-Star Game will be held at Lower.com Field in Columbus, OH, home of the reigning MLS champion Columbus Crew. The weekend will also include the staple MLS All-Star Skills Challenge. Plus, fans can enjoy the All-Star Concert featuring Marshmello and PinkPantheress.
