The United States should not be micromanaging military actions in Ukraine, and the Ukrainian Armed Forces should be provided with weapons to defend the country against Russia, according to the Speaker of the House Mike Johnson.
In a conversation with the Speaker, the journalist clarified that a few days ago, the White House administration said that it had partially lifted restrictions on strikes by Ukrainian troops with American weapons against military targets on the territory of Russia, but some restrictions remained.
Speaker Johnson responded that he did not believe that Washington should control military operations in Ukraine on a micro level.
He thinks it's necessary to give the weapons that Ukraine needs to defend itself and push back Russia, and that is why he is against President Biden on this issue.
He also added that he would hold talks with the White House on this issue.

For a long time, Ukraine has been asking for official permission from President Joe Biden's administration to use American weapons to strike military targets in Russia. This request has recently been satisfied, but strikes using ATACMS are still not allowed.
However, John Kirby, Strategic Communications Coordinator for the National Security Council at the White House, said that the United States did not set restrictions on Ukraine's ability to destroy enemy aircraft, even if they are in Russian airspace.
