Three Real Madrid stars now assigned iconic squad numbers ahead of International tournament

Real Madrid have several world-class talents in their squad, and a lot of them are set to feature at International tournaments this summer.

Midfielders Toni Kroos and Jude Bellingham will be hoping to solidify their Ballon d’Or hopes by winning the European Championships with Germany or England, and there are several Real Madrid stars in the Spain squad.

New signing Kylian Mbappe will be aiming to win his second International tournament with France before he finally arrives at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Looking beyond the continent, there are also several Madrid first-teamers set to feature in the Copa America. For Brazil alone, Eder Militao, Rodrygo, Vinicius Junior and Endrick, who will join Los Blancos for next season, will all play a part.

Despite his young age, Endrick is set to play a starring role for Brazil, and his country have faith that he is to develop into a world-class striker.

They have given him the iconic number nine shirt for the Brazil National Team for the tournament. It is the same number he has worn at Palmeiras, but not the one he will wear at Real Madrid.

Endrick’s Brazil shirt number is the same one made iconic by Ronaldo Nazario, who was one of the greatest strikers in history.

Rodrygo has taken the number 10 shirt. This is the same number worn by Pele, and the Real Madrid star will have some pressure on him during the tournament as a result.

Vinicius Junior will wear the number seven shirt, as he does for Los Blancos, the same number worn by former Real Madrid Galactico and Ballon d’Or winner Kaka.

In addition to this star attacking trio, Eder Militao will also feature for Brazil, having recovered from a long-term injury, and there are other players to keep an eye on.

Fede Valverde will be representing Uruguay, but with Argentina the favourites for the tournament, these Real Madrid players will have a tough job as they aim to add yet another trophy to their La Liga and Champions League triumphs from this season.
