The fourth Kentucky football camp of June wrapped up on Wednesday afternoon. Another couple hundred high school prospects from all over the area made the trip to Kroger Field with hopes of impressing the Wildcat coaches.
In today’s camp notebook, we’re going to touch on a very talented camper who was in attendance along with the half dozen scholarship offers that were handed out by the Kentucky staff. But first, we’ll quickly touch on class of 2025 offensive tackle Jermiel Atkins, who we already mentioned in an article from earlier in the day. But considering he has an official visit with UK locked in for later this month and was participating in today’s camp, we’ll briefly mention him again.
Atkins did everything and more that was asked of him by offensive line coach Eric Wolford. Next, he’ll return to Kentucky for an official visit the weekend of June 21. Before that, he’ll hit Virginia Tech on June 7 and Minnesota on June 14. A commitment date has been scheduled for the Fourth of July.
Now let’s dive into the rest of today’s camp notes.
Jamarcus Whyce was in attendance
Class of 2026 EDGE Jamarcus “Fatt” Whyce was the highest-ranked prospect to camp on Wednesday — and he’s one to pay attention to moving forward. The Wildcats associate head coach Vince Marrow initially offered Whyce, who is teammates with Atkins at Trotwood-Madison (OH), on May 21 and quickly brought him to Lexington for a camp.
Clocking in at 6-foot-3, 250 pounds, Whyce is considered a three-star recruit and is ranked No. 473 overall by the On3 Industry Ranking. Kentucky was actually his first scholarship offer from an SEC school but it didn’t take long for Missouri and Tennessee to extend offers of their own. The likes of Boston College, Wisconsin, Notre Dame, and West Virginia have also offered him. Ohio State continues to poke around, too.
With Atkins officially visiting later this month and Whyce on the radar, we could be looking at a potential pipeline between Trotwood-Madison and the Wildcats (more on that below).
New offers going out
By our count, seven campers from Wednesday will head home with offers from Kentucky. Staying on theme, three of them suit up for Trotwood-Madison and all are members of the 2025 recruiting class. We’ll start with that trio before breaking down the remaining four.
Jahmale Clark (’25 CB) 5-10, 160 | Trotwood-Madison (Dayton, OH)
- Jahmale Clark came into Wednesday’s camp with a handful of offers already under his belt. The likes of EKU, Miami, Youngstown, UMass, and Rhode Island have already reached out with scholarships. Kentucky is his first offer from a Division I program.
Baron White (’25 ATH) 6-2, 175 | Trotwood-Madison (Dayton, OH)
- Kentucky is the first Division I offer for Barion White, a three-sport athlete who also competes in basketball along with track and field.
Xavier Millerton (’25 ATH) 6-2, 205 | Trotwood-Madison (Dayton, OH)
- Kentucky is also the first Division I offer for Xavier Millerton, who holds a Division III offer from Defiance College in Ohio. Millerton is also a tri-sport athlete for Trotwood, participating in basketball and track and field, as well.
Benjamin Eziuka (’26 IOL) 6-3 310 | Detroit Catholic Central
- Benjamin Eziuka will likely be a name to monitor moving forward after he was offered by Coach Wolford following Wednesday’s camp. He’s already pulled in offers from several mid-major schools such as Toldeo, Eastern Michigan, Central Michigan, and plenty more, but UK was his first from a Power 4 program. Eziuka has unofficially visited Notre Dame and Michigan multiple times, as well. He was a clear standout to us at camp and the Kentucky coaches must have agreed.
Emiere Lemons (’28 WR) 6-3, 195 | Glenville (Cleveland, OH)
- Another clear camp standout was Emiere Lemons, who is only a rising high school freshman. He came down to Lexington with dozens of his Glenville teammates but was the only one to publicly announce an offer — his first from a DI school. Lemons tagged new wide receivers coach Daikiel Shorts in his social media post about the UK offer. At 6-foot-3 and still a summer away from attending high school, there is plenty of potential with Lemons.
Tristen Bozeman (’26 WR) 6-1, 180 | Dunbar (Dayton, OH)
- Tristen Bozeman received his second Division I offer following Wednesday’s camp. He also holds one from UMass, which he received back in November. Bozeman posed for a picture alongside Coach Marrow afterward.
Mason Marden (’26 LB) 6-3, 215 | Ladue (St. Louis, MO)
- Doubling as a lacrosse player, Mason Marden earned his first DI offer. He tagged inside linebackers coach Mike Stoops and safeties coach Frank Buffano in his social media announcement of the offer. Coach Buffano was talking with Marden plenty after the camp finished.
