All Germany players seem fit for last Euro 2024 test against Greece

Germany coach Julian Nagelsmann had all players on board in the final training for the last Euro 2024 tune-up match on Friday against Greece.

Full back Maximilian Mittelstädt was back on Thursday for the session after getting a rest the previous day.

Mittelstädt is a starter under Nagelsmann which is not expected to change against Greece in Mönchengladbach.

Midfielder Toni Kroos and defender Antonio Rüdiger are also set to start after joining the squad in mid-week following their Champions League title win with Real Madrid.

They missed Monday's 0-0 against Ukraine, just like Leroy Sane who completed a three-game suspension. Bayern Munich winger Sane will get playing time against Greece to show that he can compete despite pubic bone problems that have plagued him for weeks.

Nagelsmann has to announce his final Euro squad of 26 almost immediately after the final whistle on Friday, meaning he has to drop one player.

Defender Robin Koch or forward Maximilian Beier appear to be the likely candidates. Beier had a strong game as a substitute against Ukraine, hitting the post.

Nagelsmann has said that no player deserves to miss the home Euros which Germany open next week Friday against Scotland. Hungary and Switzerland are the other group stage opponents.
