'Definitely': Pundit says Man City have a player who is way quicker than Bukayo Saka

Jill Scott has claimed that Manchester City have a player who is faster than Bukayo Saka.

Bukayo Saka is one of the quickest wingers in the world, even though his game is not based on his pace.

The Arsenal forward’s intelligence, eye for goal, creativity and brilliant technique make him a cracking player.

Jill Scott says Man City star is “definitely” faster than Bukayo Saka

However, an advantage Saka has over several other wingers is his pace.

The FA Cup winner’s ability to burst past defenders is one of the reasons why he causes left-backs a tough time.

But when quizzed about which player has the best speed in the England squad, Jill Scott picked Kyle Walker over Bukayo Saka without hesitation.

“Kyle Walker is definitely the quickest”, she told Channel 4 Video Sport on TikTok.

Apart from Kyle Walker, one would have assumed Jill Scott would have chosen Bukayo Saka as the quickest player in the England set-up.

The likes of Phil Foden, Cole Palmer, Jude Bellingham, Declan Rice and John Stones to name a few are not known for being particularly quick.

Meanwhile, Marcus Rashford, who is rapid was left out of the Three Lions’ provisional squad — making Kyle Walker and Bukayo Saka arguably the quickest players at Gareth Southgate’s disposal.

Kyle Walker is still faster than Bukayo Saka

As Sam Allardyce stated, it is remarkable how the 34-year-old is as quick as he is at his age.

In 2021, Bukayo Saka told LADbible TV that Kyle Walker is his toughest-ever opponent — proving Jill Scott right about her suggestion that he is quicker than the 22-year-old.

Perhaps a reason behind that being the case is City’s number two’s pace, as the Ealing-born wideman stated the reason for the decorated right-back for being such a difficult opponent was “self-explanatory.”

As quick as Saka is, Walker could be his country’s fastest-ever player alongside players like Walcott, Lennon and Rashford to name a few, making him England’s current quickest stalwart.
