Frankie – The Concert celebrates the music of Frankie Valli at Newark’s Palace Theatre

The long hit-filled career of Frankie Valli is among the acts being celebrated at Newark’s Palace Theatre over the coming days.

Frankie - The Concert aims to perfectly recreate the powerful falsetto of the Sixtes and Seventies icon when the show comes to the Palace stage today (June 7).

Featuring an eight-piece band, the performance will serve as a reminder of why Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons sold more than 100m records worldwide.

Frankie - The Concert is a celebration of the music of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons.

It includes classic hits such as Can’t Take My Eyes Off You, Walk Like a Man, Sherry, Big Girls Don’t Cry, Oh, What a Night and many more.

That is followed on Saturday (June 8) by Love Hurts: Power Ballads And Anthems, the latest production from Newark’s Steve Steinman.

This new show features a powerhouse cast of singers, dancers and seven-piece live band belting out some of the greatest power ballads and anthems of all time!

It includes tracks from Queen, Heart, Whitesnake, Billy Idol, Aerosmith, Tina Turner, Cutting Crew, Boston, Foreigner, REO Speedwagon, Rainbow, Van Halen, Europe, and Extreme.

Finally, a week tomorrow (June 14) is Genesis Connected.

Celebrating the music of Genesis and the biggest selling acts connected: Peter Gabriel, Phil Collins and Mike and the Mechanics, this show promises incredible mix of material, from atmospheric anthems to chart toppers.

It features hots spanning from the late Seventies onwards including Turn It On Again, Sledgehammer, In The Air Tonight, Over My Shoulder, Against All Odds, That’s All, Solsbury Hill, You Can’t Hurry Love, and The Living Years.
