What Carly Pearce Requires Backstage at Every Show [Exclusive]

Carly Pearce

Carly Pearce just dropped her fourth studio album, Hummingbird, and is currently on the Standing Room Only tour with Tim McGraw.

For an artist, the hours and minutes leading up to show time can be somewhat nerve-racking. You can hear the roar of the crowd and see the people shuffling to their seats while your opener starts playing and getting the crowd going.

While you are waiting to take the stage, you may require some things backstage to help you prepare. That’s why we often ask artists what they ask for on their tour riders.

What Carly Pearce Requires Backstage at Every Show

Being in the proper mind-space and comfort zone backstage, requires certain things for each artist. I sat down with the “We Don’t Even Fight Anymore” singer and asked her what she requires backstage for each show to go smooth.

Pearce started her answer with a giggle.

“Oh gosh. Let’s see. Bananas, red wine, Neutrogena face wipes, hummus, Orbit gum. How’s that?”

The “Every Little Thing” singer, who is known to be a true vocalist, continued.

“People are always like, ‘what do you do before a show to make sure your voice is good?’ I eat an absurd amount of Halo Top ice cream on the road, it’s ridiculous.”

In a previous interview, Pearce has told me that she is constantly chewing Orbit gum. She blows through a pack or two a day, but still has to buy them, no sponsorship has presented itself to her yet.

Seems pretty cut and dry that Pearce needs and deserves a Halo Top ice cream and an Orbit gum endorsement.

Compared to some of the other artists that have divulged their backstage requests to us, Pearce’s seem to be pretty spot on, and requesting what you would expect for her to be comfortable pre-show.
