Uttar Pradesh: Car catches fire in Noida, no casualties reported

Noida (Uttar Pradesh) [India], June 8 (ANI): A car caught fire in Noida's Sector 113 area on Saturday, officials said.

The incident occurred on the FNG Road at Sector 113 of Noida during the early hours.

Fire Service officials responded promptly upon receiving the alert, dispatching a fire vehicle to the location.

The fire was successfully extinguished, and no casualties have been reported, officials said.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation, and further details are awaited.

Earlier a fire broke out at a two-storey building in Vasundhara in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, on Thursday morning, said authorities.

On receiving the information, two fire tenders rushed to the spot and started dousing the fire. A fire officer said that the fire erupted after an air conditioner unit exploded.

"Today around 5:30 am, Vaishali Fire Station received information that a fire broke out at a 2-storey building in Vasundhara. 2 fire tenders were rushed to the spot. The fire broke out because the AC unit exploded. fire was doused in an hour. No casualties were reported," Rahul Kumar, Chief Fire Officer, told ANI.

Meanwhile, on Wednesday night, a fire broke out due to a short circuit at an apartment in Noida Sector 119, said officials.

According to the Fire Service officials, a fire broke out on the 17th floor of Eldeco Aamantran Society located in Sector 119.

As soon as the information was received the fire brigade reached the spot and managed to douse the fire.

No casualties in the incident have been reported. (ANI)
